Our Greatest Fight

We are cops, proud and true..
First line sentinels, dressed in blue..
Facing the dangers, day and night..
Protecting all, we fight the fight..

We battle the bad, right the wrong..
Some deeds not noticed, even in song..
Serving mankind, for the greater good..
Standing up strong, as well all should..

Injury and death, a lot we see..
Doing our job, no time to flee..
Giving our best, trying to win..
Good over evil, right over sin..

But our greatest battle is not one of the street..
Not a villian you can chase with your feet..
He’s an evil that hides from our view..
You never know when he comes for you..

He cares not, if you are young or old..
He goes for the weak, and after the bold..
Sex or race, won’t sway him one bit..
He seeks his target and goes for the hit..

He can’t be seen, or even touched..
Cares not who loves you so very much..
He appears without warning and won’t let go..
Attacks everywhere, from head to toe..

His name is CANCER, tho known by more..
His name strikes terror, to the very core..
And most believe He spells their doom..
But help is coming, and very soon..

Our warriors fight Him everyday..
Raising funds, wherever they may..
Backing the fight against this evil scourge..
Standing their ground, fighting the purge..

So back our warriors, fight to win..
Help them triumph, over this evil sin..
Cops Fighting Cancer, our warriors are called..
Pledge to help them make Cancer fall!
